Recommended Hamster Items

These are just some items I would recommend that you buy your hamster, especially if you were barely about to get a hamster.

Ware Critter Universe:
This cage is perfect for any breed, you can add on how many levels you want and it is made of durable plastic so it will last longer. Also it is very economical if you can't afford an expensive cage. Not only that but it is very easy to clean.

Care fresh Bedding:
This is one of the safest beddings out there because it is mostly paper, which will not harm your hamster and if your hamster does happen to swallow it it will be okay. It comes in many different varieties to meet your requirements such as Basic, Natural, Ultra, Colors, and more.

Super Pet Run- About Ball:
Your hamster needs this to exercise when out of its cage and it can be fun for your hamster as well. Make sure you get the right size, do not base it off which size is cheaper but which size it must need to be comfortable.

Super Pet Silent Spinner:
A wheel is needed because a regular hamster can run up to three miles in the night out in the wild. Wheels that usually come with the cage can either be unsafe or too noisy. This wheel is very silent and can fit in wire or tank cages. Make sure you also get the right size! :)

Ecotrition Essential Blend for Hamster & Gerbils:
There are allot of unhealthy and healthy foods for hamsters out there. This is one of the healthiest and also happens to be economical or "cheap" considering it very good quality. This food has allot of variety in it and also if you do feed your hamster the right amount won't make your hamster "chubby" or "sluggish" after all we do want our hamsters for a long time :)

Wood Chews:
Your hamster needs wood chews to keep it's teeth trim and nice. You need to make sure they are always at the right length or else it can be very uncomfortable for them and may have to involve the vet later on. Vets can trim hamster's teeth if this does happen but try to avoid it as much as possible.

Hideouts:
Cages usually come with some form of a "hideout" such as a small space specifically made for your hamster to sleep in. Although hamsters still need their regular hideouts, try to make the hideout bigger than your hamster because its too small or barely meets your hamster's body size chances are they won't want to go in it. Like us, they would like to have lots of room, a trick is to put the hide out over your hamster or put your hamster into it because usually they won't want to go in.
